Here we describe the type of data we collect on Maxwell GeoSystems (MGS) sites and applications to give you a better experience, and to build a better product.
When you sign-up for our Products & Services
To create an account you need to provide data including your name, email address and/or mobile number, and a password. If you register for a MissionOS product, you or your company will need to provide payment (e.g., credit card) relevant financial banking and billing information.
If you communicate through our Products & Services, we learn about that too
We collect information about you when you send, receive, or engage with messages in connection with Maxwell GeoSystems Products & Services. For example, we also retain an archive of messages and on-line VOP communication.
We log your visits and use of our Products & Services, including mobile apps
We log usage data when you visit or otherwise use Maxwell GeoSystems Products & Services, including our MissionOS sites, Website, Demonstration Portals, including AWS Cloud services, such as when you view or click on content (e.g., learning video). We use log-ins, cookies, device information and internet protocol ("IP"?) addresses to identify you and log your use.
We receive data from your devices and networks, including location data
When you visit or leave Maxwell GeoSystems Products & Services (including our plugins or cookies or similar technology on the websites of others), we may receive the URL of both the site you came from and the one you go to next. We also get information about your IP address, proxy server, operating system, web browser and add-ons, device identifier and features, and/or ISP or your mobile carrier. If you use our Products & Services from a mobile device, that device will send us data about your location based on your phone settings. We will ask you to opt-in before we use GPS or other tools. e.g. Bluetooth to identify your precise location.
We introduce new Products & Services including new features
Maxwell GeoSystems Products & Services are dynamic, and we often introduce new features, which may require the collection of new information. If we collect materially different personal data or materially change how we use your data, we will notify you and may also modify our Privacy Policy.
When you submit an Enquiry or submit a Job Application
When your submit an Enquiry or Job Application to Maxwell GeoSystems you need to provide data including your name, email address and/or mobile number. In addition you may be asked for your existing Job Title, Company & Location. You may also submit you CV-Resumé and this information will be held on file for the duration of the application process. All applicants personal data will be treated as Private & Confidential and maintained under the responsibility of the Human Resources Manager. All unsuccessful applications personal data and accompanying CV-Resumés will be deleted immediately following closure of the position. All company employees’ personal data is maintained under the responsibility of the Human Resources Manager.
We need your data to carry out the successful, effective operation of Maxwell GeoSystems’ products, such as MissionOS and our Sales Support, Technical, Finance, HR and Sales & Marketing operations. This data is used for the practical functioning of the Products & Services provided as well as effective interaction with you. We collect the minimum data necessary to carry out these tasks. We explain how or why we need an Individual’s personal data when we collect it. We keep a record of when and how we obtained your consent and what your were told at the time. The data may be processed in other countries outside of the EU, according to the type of personal information provided in relation to the Product & Services provided.
We will keep your personal data on record depending on the primary purpose/s it is maintained for. Projects may demand that a statutory minimum time personal data is retained for legal purposes depending on the law as valid for the specific country location.
We undertake on-going Sales & Marketing activities
We carry out a range of Sales & Marketing activities on an on-going basis. We use the contact e-mail you will have given consent for us to use and any other information you may have provided. Activities include: Marketing mailings, Media Releases, Announcements, Website news and MGS postings third-parties such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, MailChimp, CRM-provider, Digital Marketing agency. We may profile personal data provided to improve the targeting of marketing communications and personalised for individuals and groups. We give individuals the option to refuse marketing communications at any time and OPT-OUT
You may contact us at any time and request clarification of the information we have gathered and maintain on our data-base. You may request any aspect of that information to be corrected, updated or deleted where appropriate according to your preference and without detriment.

Our new Privacy Policy sets out the way in which personal information you provide us is collected, used and kept secure by Maxwell GeoSystems. We will update our Privacy Policy to ensure compliance to relevant regulations, such as Europe’s new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
