In the latest edition of Employee Focus post, we turn our attention to Rajiv K.R, Regional Manager (MENA- Middle East and Africa) at Maxwell GeoSystems. Rajiv has worked with the company for the past 9 years, having being based out of our Singapore office, before relocating to Dubai. 

During this time with the company, Rajiv has been involved in numerous flagship projects across Southeast Asia, such as Sha Tin Caverns, Diamond Hill, Lam Tin, Central Kowloon Route, based out of Hong Kong, as well as the recent NEOM- The Line in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

With his role as a Project Manager, Rajiv has successfully helped clients in these projects overcome potential challenges or issues they face, during the project. He mentions, “by working across numerous projects across challenging environments, it has provided me with the chance to improve my technical ability to meet project requirements and needs, along with the enhancement of my own career growth. Working alongside a strong support team allows me to resolve situations that project engineers face, and thus ensuring there is no delay in the project”. 

When asked about his time with us and an achievement that he’s accomplished within Maxwell GeoSystems, Rajiv says, “I got opportunities to work on projects across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and now in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Over the course of projects in multiple cities, there have been several challenges and deliverables that I have had to overcome, despite not being present in those locations physically. This is all down to the assistance I have had with our support teams to resolve issues at the earliest. I am particularly proud of the fact that the clients I have worked with have praised and acknowledged my skillset and problem-solving abilities”. 

As a result of Rajiv’s outstanding contributions as a Project Manager across multiple projects, he was the recipient of the ‘Award for Excellence’, highlighting his hard work and efforts along the way. 

As a closing remark, Rajiv says, “there has always been a strong system of support within the company, that has enabled me to reach the position I am in now. I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to everyone, especially Dr.Angus Maxwell, for offering me the position of Regional Manager (MENA- Middle East and Africa). Moving to a new region and working closely on the world’s largest infrastructure project gives me great pride to continue to excel and deliver the best possible service of MissionOS to our clients”.
