Banjoe Valdez

Territory Manager – APAC

Banjoe Valdez has over 10 years of experience in a variety of ground engineering disciplines including foundations, lateral support systems and ground improvement/stabilisation works. His most recent experience is the on-going Deep Tunnel Sewerage System Phase 2 (DTSS2) in Singapore where he manages a Team of Engineers set up the Shaft and Tunnel Excavation Monitoring System (STEMS).

He was also involved in high profile instrumentation & monitoring projects in Hong Kong like the XRL, SCL for the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) and HATS2A of the Drainage & Services Department (DSD) and in Singapore’s Woodsville Interchange project, which was a sensitive cut and cover construction involving the interaction of three different tunnel systems and sensitive surface structures. He holds a Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering (MSc Geotechnical) from the Hong Kong University (HKU).

One of the cool things Banjoe is currently working on his designing his dream house and is passionate about making all his dreams a reality. One of the craziest things he has done has been to travel to Moscow, Russia alone just to visit a friend.
