Features

Maxwell GeoSystems are one of the world’s leading providers of information systems for infrastructure projects of all sizes.

Cause and Effect and Influence

By combining ground and environmental conditions in the same platform as the construction geometry and progress information, and being able to compare both to the instrument responses, provides a much higher level of insight into environmental response to construction and the behaviour of the temporary works in relation to design.

Control of Process

MissionOS records technical data from the construction process including data logged equipment such as Tunnel Boring Machines, Drilling Jumbos and Piling Rigs.

Comparing this data to instrument results and to design predictions allows the construction methods to be refined in real-time to improve efficiency and safety in the construction process.

Risk Management and Mitigation

The MissionOS provides an effective interface for recording hazards linked to geographical locations and job activities.

Organisation of this data enhances the risk assessment and classification process and allows mitigation methods to be tracked using the in-built blogging platform.

Protection

Our clients rely on the MissionOS to manage instrumentation installed for the protection of assets influenced by construction processes.

Building damage assessment can also be undertaken directly within the MissionOS. Filters and alarms are fully customisable and alarms can be directed to emails and SMS as well as to custom blogs.

The use of customised blogs to organise the alarm response process has put Maxwell GeoSystems at the cutting edge of the infrastructure protection.

Communication and Transparency

Maxwell GeoSystems’ MissionOS system supplies a single source of truth for the project and ensures that complete data is available for analysis.

The platform has a sophisticated hierarchy and permissions scheme which ensures effective communication and transparency whilst limiting visibility to authorised users.

Its built-in flexible API’s enable cross-platform communications to automate data flows.

Influence of Ground Conditions

Ground conditions contribute over 50% to construction related delays and claims.

The MissionOS reads borehole AGS information from version 3.1 and 4.0 data files and displays data in the form of simple logs, sections and 3D models. Built-in tools for data modelling help connect ground conditions to the works.

Feedback on Design

Design prediction data can be loaded as custom data classes via the generic data loader and compared with instrumentation results directly.

Such rapid feedback on design without the need for extensive data-processing decreases project risk and focuses staff time on mitigation.

Time and Cost Analysis

The MissionOS shift reporting systems are the foundation for the Mission Site product and track time for activities on sites with the ability to embrace schemes for coding set at corporate levels.

For contemporaneous activities Mission Site shift reporting allows the user to interactively choose which one is critical.

To this is added information on labour, plant and materials to give records of site activities which are detailed complete and auditable.

These basic records can be augmented by any number of additional data structures to store information as diverse as revealed geology, support installation, drilling, grouting and in-situ test results.
