Asia Pacific Sales Manager

By joining our company, you will be working for a well-established global SaaS company on a journey to bring data alive. Our MissionOS software is globally recognised and currently installed on some of the world’s largest infrastructure projects.

The Role

Working closely with the CEO you will be responsible for the sales of MissionOS in the Asia Pacific region

Primary duties of the role include, but not limited to:

  • Tasked with identifying and developing new business opportunities within the region as well as identifying opportunities to increase revenue within the company’s current portfolio of clients
  • Expected to create plans for regional growth including expansion into new markets, in particular mining. You will deliver on agreed metrics and have responsibility for tenders, contract negotiations, resource management and project profitability
  • Working with management to set sales strategies and pricing and delivery plans. You will diagnose any issues affecting revenue generation and help to formulate effective solutions.
  • Build relationships with existing clients and be actively involved in delivering our product and services to a high technical standard and efficiency.
  • Engage regularly with clients to garner feedback and improve product delivery where possible
  • Make presentations at meetings, conferences and industry events and work with the marketing team to assist in the preparation of sales collateral.
The Person

To be considered for this role you will be expected to show a background of success in a technical sales role, ideally within the data management sector.

  • You should be driven and self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and the ability to both hunt and maintain long-term partnerships with key decision makers.
  • IT competent, ideally you should be experienced in the engineering construction industry (predominantly selling) but the business is open to identifying the best talent from similar or related sectors, if you feel you have the applicable skills.
  • You will have a good understanding of the Sales procurement process, working with global and state-owned companies.
  • Knowledge of the technical sales process, from opportunity to development to bid preparation and negotiating and finalising the contract.
  • A broad understanding of the cultural, political and legal factors that affect the interaction with customers and markets across the APAC region is essential.
  • Degree qualified in Civil, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Mining, Quantity Surveying or BIM with a minimum of 15 years’ experience.
