How to Recognise a Recruitment Scam

Be cautious if a person claiming to represent Maxwell GeoSystems:

• Asks for an application, processing, interview, coaching, documentation, training, or onboarding fee.
• Requests bank details, credit card information, tax documents, passport copies, or other sensitive information during recruitment.
• Offers a job without a genuine application or interview, or provides a vague, generic job description.
• Pressures you to make an immediate payment or decision.
• Uses an email address that appears to be from @maxwellgeosystems.com but behaves suspiciously. (Note: Email addresses can be spoofed.)

What Genuine Recruitment Looks Like

• No fees. Applications, interviews, interview preparation, processing, documentation, training, and onboarding are free.
• Official communication. Recruitment communication (including online interviews and offer letters) comes through official …@maxwellgeosystems.com email channels. Interviews are scheduled directly by the HR team.
• No paid interview access. There is no payment-gated platform, interview slot fee, paid coaching requirement, or workshop required to secure an interview.
• No financial information during recruitment. Maxwell GeoSystems does not request bank or credit card details as part of the recruitment process.
• Clear employment details. Genuine job offers provide the role title, compensation, team, start date, and reporting manager.
• Direct verification. Maxwell GeoSystems verifies candidates’ qualifications and experience directly and communicates through official channels.
