Digital Construction and Monitoring Insights from Thailand CPD Seminar
Maxwell GeoSystems was pleased to take part in a recent seminar hosted by the Council of Engineers Thailand – the professional body for engineers in the country.
Held as part of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme, the session brought together professionals from across the industry to share insights on piling, tunnelling, and deep excavation.
The programme featured a strong lineup of speakers, including Noppadol Phienwej and Narong Thasnanipan, offering a valuable mix of academic perspective and practical experience.
As part of the programme, the Maxwell GeoSystems team shared a few perspectives:
• Angus Maxwell spoke about the role of centralised monitoring data in improving project visibility and supporting better risk management
• Banjoe Valdez presented a case study from Singapore’s DTSS Phase 2, illustrating how digital approaches are being applied in practice
• Rich Laver explored how AI-powered data interfacing can accelerate the interpretation of monitoring data, enabling earlier identification of potential construction impacts and supporting more proactive decision-making on site
Engagements like these play an important role in advancing industry-wide understanding, and we value the opportunity to contribute to conversations that are shaping the future of geotechnical engineering.
